Through exhibitions such as World Travel Market, Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, Arabian Travel Market & WTM Africa, International Golf Travel Market and Oceanology International – RX Global’s support has enabled Just a Drop to reach over 39,000 people across 25 projects in nine countries with safe, clean water and sanitation!

MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT, part of Reed Exhibitions, is the world’s leading exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, air-conditioning and renewable energies.

For several years, the event has generously supported Just a Drop, reaching over 4500 people through the following projects:

2009 Osiligi Street Children Rehabilitation Centre In Kenya: 600 Beneficiaries
2011 Achuapa Village in Nicargua: 852
2012 Noondoto Village in Tanzania: 2670 people though a piped system from a dam
2016 Gombe Primary School in Uganda: 396 people through a latrine block

In 2016, donations were used for our project at Gombe School, Uganda, which has 384 children on its roll aged 5 to 15 years.

The project was delivered on time and within budget, covering:

Construction and installation of one 30,000 litre rain water harvesting tank
Construction of one school VIP latrine of fourteen stances, for girls, boys and teachers
Installation of one hand washing facility
Training pupils and teachers in school hygiene and sanitation promotion
Facilitation of the election and training of school health club members
Training of school health club members and teachers in the operation and maintenance of school WASH facilities

The work done at Gombe is entirely sustainable, as in all Just a Drop projects. The community were involved throughout and now own and maintain the facilities, which adds to the sustainable nature of the project.

Reed Exhibitions Asia

Reed Exhibitions Asia have recently supported our project at Angkoul village, Cambodia.

The project constructed 4 new wells and rehabilitated 4 more, provided bio-sand filters to every household and provided support with latrine construction. The community also received comprehensive training in hygiene education and how to maintain their new facilities.

The impact of this sustainable activities is already clear, 945 people have access to clean and safe water and incidents of illness have decreased markedly. Thank you to all of the staff at RX Global and RX Cares for your support!

What We Do

We work at a grassroots level to support communities around the world with access to sustainable safe water solution, sanitation facilities and knowledge of safe hygiene practices: such as through the construction of wells, pipelines, sand dams, rainwater harvesting systems and latrines, and hygiene and sanitation programmes.

Why Water?

With clean water, communities can begin to lift themselves out of poverty and build brighter futures. Drinking dirty water can make people sick. That’s just part of the picture. A lack of clean water and sanitation holds back development and makes it harder for communities to escape the poverty trap.
Our Approach

We believe everyone, everywhere, should have access to clean water as a basic right. We want to see a world where everyone has clean water and adequate sanitation, and the increased health and prosperity this brings. Our approach is to support marginalised people across the world through community-led development, rather than aid; and to focus on sustainability and quality, ensuring a project's transformative impact is felt for decades to come.

Radisson Hotel Group

Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Just a Drop to help give children around the world access to safe drinking water through the towel re-use programme. Guests are asked to reuse their towels and forego housekeeping. For every towel reused, Radisson Hotel Group make a donation to Just a Drop. Over 24,000 people across Just a Drop projects in Kenya, Nicaragua, Peru and India now have access to safe water thanks to this initiative.

Baltimore Aircoil Company

Just a Drop partnered with Baltimore Aircoil Company on World Water Day, 22 March 2018, to bring safe water and sanitation to communities worldwide. Since then, our partnership has reached thousands of people and in the coming year, BAC will support a further two projects in the Tempisque and La Jícara villages of Nicaragua, bringing water, sanitation, and hygiene to 251 people.
