Partner with Just a Drop

Help us transform lives with clean water

Just a Drop works with corporates to expand our reach and resources, but also our impact. We work to create truly impactful and sustainable partnerships with companies whose values align with our own.

We can only deliver our work with the support of our partners - we're so grateful to each and every one of them. We are able to show each partner exactly where their donation has gone and what the impact achieved is.

Below are just some of the ways we form partnerships:

Our friendly team can work with you to create a shared value partnership, compelling marketing initiatives and engage employees. Our partners benefit from improved brand lift, increased sales, engaged employees, a boost in customer loyalty and access to key global market knowledge and expertise.

Helping Partners to Contribute to the Triple Bottom Line

Radisson Hotel Group partnered with Just a Drop to help give children around the world access to safe drinking water through their towel re-use programme. Guests are asked to reuse their towels and forego housekeeping. For every towel reused, Radisson Hotel Group make a donation to Just a Drop.

The group is focused on water stewardship as part of its Responsible Business programme; driving water stewardship projects to conserve and protect the earth’s priceless water supply and supports local communities by providing safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.

They are a global brand who are looking to have a global impact so Just a Drop’s work worldwide really appealed to them. As a result, through the towel reuse programme, they were able to support Just a Drop projects across Kenya, India and Nicaragua impacting the lives of over 25,000 people.

Not only did they generate operational cost savings, from laundry and excess water usage, but they contributed from a social perspective to communities and at an environmental perspective through water conservation but also climate action based on Just a Drop solutions on the ground.

Thereby contributing to the economic, social and environmental triple bottom line.

Radisson Hotel Group and their teams across the world have also helped raise a significant amount for Just a Drop projects through a variety of activities, such as sponsored 'walks for water', cake sales, superhero runs and challenge events. In May 2017, Radisson Hotel Group won the IMEX-GMIC Innovation in Sustainability Award, in recognition that Radisson is genuinely transforming lives with Just a Drop.

Through their fundraising, Radisson Hotel Group has been able to sponsor a number of Just a Drop Projects across the world, including the Ngutethye Self Help Group in Kenya. Just a Drop built a sand dam for the group which has brought a supply of clean, safe water to the community. People are now healthier and happier, and thanks to the vast volume of water stored by a sand dam, have enough water to grow crops, which provide a stable source of food and income.

Inge Huijbrechts, Global Senior Vice President Responsible Business and Safety & Security, Radisson Hotel Group said,

Radisson Hotel Group plays a leading role promoting responsible water stewardship initiatives across the hospitality industry and is a proud partner of Just a Drop. Thanks to Just a Drop we have been able to reduce single towel use across Radisson Hotels and create a real sustainable impact, whilst also saving money on laundry costs.

But why can't people just move closer to water?

Just a Drop launched our the longest Twitter thread ever for World Water Day - following in the footsteps on Ann a 32-year-old Kenyan mother who is forced to walk 9km every day to collect water. But we were surprised to see that there seemed to be one common question: “But why don’t people move closer to the water?”

  • What We Do

    What We Do

We work at a grassroots level to support communities around the world with access to sustainable safe water solution, sanitation facilities and knowledge of safe hygiene practices: such as through the construction of wells, pipelines, sand dams, rainwater harvesting systems and latrines, and hygiene and sanitation programmes.

  • Why Water?

    Why Water?

With clean water, communities can begin to lift themselves out of poverty and build brighter futures. Drinking dirty water can make people sick. That’s just part of the picture. A lack of clean water and sanitation holds back development and makes it harder for communities to escape the poverty trap.

  • Our Approach

    Our Approach

We believe everyone, everywhere, should have access to clean water as a basic right. We want to see a world where everyone has clean water and adequate sanitation, and the increased health and prosperity this brings. Our approach is to support marginalised people across the world through community-led development, rather than aid; and to focus on sustainability and quality, ensuring a project's transformative impact is felt for decades to come.
