About Us Meet the Team Trustees Clare Buckle, Company SecretaryClare is a Chartered Accountant with experience in a variety of financial planning and strategy roles, including at Diageo Plc for the global gin brands and for the Diageo group as a whole. She has worked with many charities, most recently at the Prince’s Trust as a Business Mentor and with Personal Overseas Development at their projects in India and Vietnam, and takes great pleasure in her work as a Trustee for Just a Drop. Clare joined the Rambert School in September 2014 as Finance Director and Company Secretary and continues to be an enthusiastic supporter of ballet and contemporary dance. She enjoys rowing on the tideway and is a competent sculler. Nick ForsterA Chartered Accountant by training, Nick spent 30 years with Reed Exhibitions, and since 1995 was the Worldwide Commercial Director until his retirement in 2013. He has known Just a Drop since its inception when it was started in Reed Exhibitions and he continues to act as a link with Reed for Just a Drop. He consults in the exhibition industry for amongst others Reed Exhibitions, the Affordable Art Fairs and Artexis Easyfairs in Belgium. He is also a director of the Richmond Golf Club (Guarantee) Ltd. Michi MacLennanMichi is Director of Social Media Strategy for international creative communications agency MerchantsCantos, working with a number of high-profile brands to better their use of digital channels. Prior to that he worked as Global Digital Editorial Manager for Red Bull, produced interactive educational guides for the BBC, and worked in a number of other media and digital roles. He joined the board of Just a Drop after being impressed and moved by the charity’s work to provide access to safe water and sanitation, empowering local communities while doing so. In his spare time he has ran marathons, made short films, been gunged live on Blue Peter (with the badge to prove it), and being Scottish can play the bagpipes when it’s absolutely necessary to do so. Geoff PookGeoff is a chartered civil engineer with extensive professional experience on water and sanitation projects in the UK, the Caribbean, Egypt, India, and Hong Kong. Geoff is also Just a Drop's Project Engineer for Cambodia, and monitors our projects both in India and Cambodia. Just a Drop gives Geoff the opportunity to use his skills to help others and get to know people in a way that only working in a country can. Mike ReynoldsMike is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and over the course of his career, worked on all seven continents. He developed an interest in water whilst serving with the Brigade of Ghurkhas in Nepal, implementing village water supply schemes. Mike was Just a Drop's Project Officer for Uganda for over 10 years, and gained great satisfaction volunteering his time for Just a Drop. He feels that the charity is small enough so that everyone knows each other, but big enough to have a massive impact for good on the communities in which Just a Drop works. John Turner, TreasurerAfter training as a Chartered Accountant, John held various roles in financial management before moving into investment banking, where he spent over 20 years with Société Générale. He is now an independent consultant and non-executive Director. Peter Watson, LegalPeter is a Director at Emsleys Solicitors Ltd, a leading Leeds based law firm serving private clients and businesses. Prior to that Peter was Managing Partner of Simpson Millar, a leading National Consumer Law Firm. He is a dual qualified Solicitor having previously practiced in Queensland Australia as well as England and Wales. In addition to position as a Trustee at Just a Drop, Peter has also supported and participated in Humanitarian Aid Convoys to Eastern Europe for many years. His motivation for working with Just a Drop is its unique focus on actually seeing through the delivery of projects and the emphasis on sustainability and community engagement.
