About Us Meet the Team Trustees Anne JoselinAnne is a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) specialist and Infrastructure Adviser with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Building on her background and early career in rural development, agriculture and environmental studies, Anne specialising in WASH in 2008. She spent nine years working for the Australian government building their WASH programmes and policies and joined DFID (now the FCDO) in 2016. She has managed WASH programmes in Indonesia and DR Congo as well as broader WASH programmes covering many parts of Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Chris MottersheadChris has worked in travel for over 30 years, starting as Group Finance Director at Aspro Travel Ltd in 1990, before becoming Managing Director of TUI UK, Chief Executive of Travelzest plc and Chief Executive of First Choice Canada. Chris joined Thomas Cook in April 2015 and became Managing Director for Thomas Cook Group’s UK & Ireland business in September of that year and was later appointed Chief of Product & Operations, Thomas Cook Group plc. In late 2019 Chris joined Travel Leaders Group (UK) Ltd to lead the expansion of its subsidiary, Barrhead Travel. Chris is a qualified accountant and currently President of the Institute of Travel and Tourism and Chairman of the Thomas Cook Children’s Charity. Claire CooperClaire has joined the board to strengthen it with her Human Resource (HR) and wellbeing knowledge. Claire has grown and sold her own HR consultancies as well as supporting Boards of SME’s within the UK, Europe and America markets, for the past 20 years. In 2006 Claire was appointed Chair of the Young Directors at the Institute of Directors. Her main task was to define the need of the Institute to the emerging leaders and to establish a structure for the delivery of director education and learning around the UK. In 2010, Claire launched CCHR. Claire and her team continue to provide SME’s with a holistic HR and Wellbeing support service. Debbie FlynnDebbie Flynn is the founder and managing partner of Brighter Group, now a Finn Partners Company. Debbie founded Brighter Group in February 1995 after 10 years at British Airways in a variety of roles which included operations, marketing and PR. Brighter Group is one of the leading travel and hospitality communications agencies in the UK with expert teams in PR, Digital and Destination Marketing. Debbie was awarded by the Guild of Travel and Tourism for her services to travel, was named by AWTE as one of the top 60 female travel executives, and for the second year in a row was named in the PR Week Powerbook as one of the top 10 travel PR influencers in the UK. Geoff PookGeoff is a chartered civil engineer with extensive professional experience on water and sanitation projects in the UK, the Caribbean, Egypt, India, and Hong Kong. Geoff is also Just a Drop's Project Engineer for Cambodia, and monitors our projects both in India and Cambodia. Just a Drop gives Geoff the opportunity to use his skills to help others and get to know people in a way that only working in a country can. Goetz EggelhoeferGoetz recently relocated to Jersey from Singapore, where he lived and worked for 22 years. He is the Founder and CEO of Wolf Investments Ltd., a small family office that seeks to generate medium- and long-term returns from investments in liquid asset markets. Throughout his career, Goetz has been involved in several philanthropic pursuits focused principally on those countries throughout Asia in which he was also involved commercially. Goetz was a founding donor of Parivaar, a non-denominational charitable organisation that houses and educates destitute street children. John Turner, Treasurer and Company SecretaryAfter training as a Chartered Accountant, John held various roles in financial management before moving into investment banking, where he spent over 20 years with Société Générale. He is now an independent consultant and non-executive Director of Yarrow Housing and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, and a Trustee of the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine. Michi MacLennanMichi is Director of Social Media Strategy for international creative communications agency MerchantsCantos, working with a number of high-profile brands to better their use of digital channels. Prior to that he worked as Global Digital Editorial Manager for Red Bull, produced interactive educational guides for the BBC, and worked in a number of other media and digital roles. He joined the board of Just a Drop after being impressed and moved by the charity’s work to provide access to safe water and sanitation, empowering local communities while doing so. In his spare time he has ran marathons, made short films, been gunged live on Blue Peter (with the badge to prove it), and being Scottish can play the bagpipes when it’s absolutely necessary to do so. Nick ForsterA Chartered Accountant by training, Nick spent 30 years with Reed Exhibitions, and since 1995 was the Worldwide Commercial Director until his retirement in 2013. He has known Just a Drop since its inception when it was started in Reed Exhibitions and he continues to act as a link with Reed for Just a Drop. He consults in the exhibition industry for amongst others Reed Exhibitions, the Affordable Art Fairs and Artexis Easyfairs in Belgium. He is also a director of the Richmond Golf Club (Guarantee) Ltd. Peter Watson, LegalPeter is Managing Director at Hentons Chartered Accountants, a Leeds Headquartered National Accountancy Practice firm serving private clients and businesses. Prior to that Peter was Managing Partner of Simpson Millar, a leading National Consumer Law Firm. He is a dual qualified Solicitor having previously practiced in Queensland Australia as well as England and Wales. In addition to position as a Trustee at Just a Drop, Peter has also supported and participated in Humanitarian Aid Convoys to Eastern Europe for many years. His motivation for working with Just a Drop is its unique focus on actually seeing through the delivery of projects and the emphasis on sustainability and community engagement.
