We are proud to launch the new sustainability section of our website! This new addition is for all our followers, supporters, and visitors to be able to keep up with our ongoing mission to achieve Net Zero by 2040. At Just a Drop, we’re committed to being transparent with our carbon data, as well as our strategy for achieving Net Zero, so we are pleased to publish our sustainability strategy and carbon action plan.

Just a Drop’s work contributes directly to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal 6, clean water and sanitation for all, and contributes to a further eleven SDGs. The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals provide a roadmap for a better world by 2030. SDG 6 specifically targets providing access to water and sanitation in order to, “ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”. Through our work and our contribution to SDG 6, we are at the forefront of the global effort to ensure a better world for all by 2030.

All of our projects aim to be non-harmful to the environment, as well as to be economically and socially sustainable. Often, our projects serve to reverse the effects of climate change by providing communities with water when they are deprived of it by extreme temperatures and weather patterns.

Our ultimate goal is to reach Net Zero by 2040, but our aim above all else is to actively be part of the effort to help the environment and those affected by climate change. Head over to our sustainability page, our sustainable development goals page, or our carbon action plan page to find out more about our approach to sustainability.
