On 23 February 2016, Samantha Cameron welcomed guests and supporters of Just a Drop to 10 Downing Street, for a private reception in the State Drawing Rooms celebrating the international water development charity's achievements.

Guests included Just a Drop Founder Fiona Jeffery OBE, ITV News presenter and Just a Drop Patron Alastair Stewart OBE, and yachtswoman and Just a Drop Patron Tracy Edwards MBE, as well as international business leaders from across the world.

Fiona Jeffery OBE said:

“This was a very exciting day for Just a Drop. We’ve come a long way since 18 years ago when I first discovered that just £1 could supply a child with water for 10 years. In that time we have managed to help people all over the world gain access to clean water and now we are at No 10. I cannot convey how grateful I am to Samantha for opening up her home to us so that we may celebrate all the wonderful work that we do.”

In addition to a wonderful night, Just a Drop long time Trustee and Project Officer, Col Mike Reynolds, received the Point of Light award which was presented to him by Samantha Cameron in recognition of his service and dedication to providing clean and safe water to communities who need it most.
