The 22nd Annual Just a Drop Golf Day
Just a Drop was delighted to host its 22nd annual Golf Day, proudly sponsored once again by John Bond and Jetset Holidays. On Wednesday 10th September, more than 100 enthusiastic golfers took to the course—braving the elements for a day of friendly competition before coming together in the evening to raise vital funds for Just a Drop.
The highlight of the night, the auction, brought in an incredible £27,600—thanks to the generosity of over 20 travel companies rallying behind the cause of safe water worldwide. Prizes included a seven-night all-inclusive stay in the Maldives, courtesy of Resort Marketing International, Furaveri Maldives, and Blacklane, as well as a seven-night escape with flights to the Dominican Republic, generously donated by Casa de Campo, Resort Marketing International, Blacklane, and Air Europa.
This event is always a major boost for Just a Drop, and this year was no exception. The warmth, generosity, and camaraderie of the travel industry were on full display.
Special congratulations go to Oliver Brendon of White Hart Associates, winner of the individual competition, with Tom Knopek of Vibe and Giani Musto of Universal Partners taking second and third place respectively. The team competition was just as fierce, with the top spot shared between Universal Partners and White Hart Associates, and Vibe coming in a close third. A huge well done to all the golfers, who delivered a day of exciting play despite the less-than-perfect conditions of the East Sussex countryside.
Our sincere thanks go to Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club for their outstanding hospitality. A special mention must also go to Giles Harper, whose tireless dedication ensures the Golf Day is such a success year after year—we are endlessly grateful.
