Better Society Awards
Partnership with an International Charity – Shortlisted
Just a Drop was nominated for our partnership with PPHE Hotel Group for two Better Society Awards! The nominations were for PPHE Hotel Group’s Green Housekeeping programme, through which they have been able to support so much of our work over the past year.

Partnership with an Environmental Charity – Shortlisted
The judges were able to shortlist Just a Drop and PPHE for the ‘Partnership with an Environmental Charity’ due to the work that Just a Drop does to protect communities from climate change, as well as our commitment to sustainability and looking after the planet. We are able to do more of this thanks to PPHE’s generous support through their Green Housekeeping programme.

Digital Fundraising Campaign of the Year – Winners
We were delighted to win the Digital Fundraising Campaign of the Year for the Walk to the Well campaign 2023, created and executed with creative company VCCP.
The award reflected the campaign’s success: the thread was viewed 19.4 million times; reached 7,514,835 unique users; created 473,000 engagements.

Corporate National Partnership Champion – Highly Commended
The judges awarded Just a Drop a Highly Commended Award for our partnership with PPHE Hotel Group. PPHE Hotel Group support us through their incredible Green Housekeeping initiative.
The partnership has raised over £120,000, helping Just a Drop bring sustainable safe water and sanitation to over 6,000 people. It’s thanks to PPHE Hotel Group’s wonderful guests that the initiative is able to make such a difference.
Every time PPHE Hotel Group’s guests opt in, the Group donates £1 per night to Just a Drop. Less cleaning and washing also reduces water and energy usage, helping to minimise the recourses each hotel needs.
Big Syn Film Festival Awards
Charity Films for Planet and People – Winner
In November Just a Drop won a Big Syn Film Festival award in the Charities section, in the category ‘Planet & People’, for the Walk to the Well 2023 official film. We were delighted to take another award win for the Walk to the Well campaign and were very excited to see our film played on the prestigious Piccadilly Lights.

Global Good Awards
Community Partnership of the Year – Finalists
Our partnership with PPHE Hotel Group also reached the final of the 2024 Global Good Awards in the Community Partnership of the Year category.
National Fundraising Awards
Charity-Business Relationship of the Year – Shortlisted
Our partnership with PPHE Hotel Group was further shortlisted for the Charity-Business Relationship of the Year.
The judges said: “A smart creative partnership that blends successful corporate fundraising with sustainability objectives, aligning the mission and values of both the charity and business. By encouraging guests to opt out of daily housekeeping to generate donations that can support water and sanitation projects, the partnership has delivered on the hotel ESG goals while raising over £264K.”

Scientific Exploration Society Awards
SES Pioneers with Purpose Award – Winner
Just a Drop was overjoyed to win the Scientific Exploration Society ‘Pioneers with Purpose’ Award for our commitment to safe water and the environment at the 2023 SES Awards.
Our Founder and Chair Fiona Jeffery OBE said of the award: “We are immensely grateful to have received this award from SES, from all of us at Just a Drop, and all of those who our work serves, thank you.”
Cannes Lions Film Festival
‘Breakthrough on a Budget’ and ‘Brand Experience and Activation’ – Nominated
Just a Drop and VCCP’s Walk to the Well campaign was been nominated for two awards at the prestigious Cannes Lions Film Festival.
The Walk to the Well campaign was a disruptive social media campaign, aiming to draw attention to the realities of living without access to safe water, through the lens of Ann from Kitui County in Kenya.
With video footage from Kenya, the campaign consisted of the longest Twitter thread ever created, comprising over 2,000 tweets. The Twitter thread challenged Twitter users to scroll through as much of the thread as possible, before liking the Tweet they finished on, at which point they were notified how much of Ann’s walk they had completed.
Shanghai International Advertising Festival
Charity Social Media Marketing Award – Winner
The campaign also picked up an award at the 2023 Shanghai International Advertising Festival, further cementing what a ground-breaking social media campaign we produced with VCCP.

Charity Times Awards
Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year – Winner
Just a Drop was honoured to have been recognised as the winner of the 2022 Charity Times ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year’ Award, alongside the charity’s long-term partner, compressor firm Atlas Copco.
Spanning a decade, the partnership between Just a Drop and Atlas Copco has seen the company donate over £350,000 to the international, safe water charity, mostly funded through staff payroll giving which is double matched by the company. With these generous donations, Just a Drop has been able to support almost 30,000 people across the world, funding over 20 transformative water and sanitation projects across seven countries.
On awarding the trophy, the partnership was praised by Judges, with the host commenting:
The partnership between Just a Drop and Atlas Copco demonstrates a clear global impact based on a working relationship that has been sustained to a very high level for many years.
Better Society Awards
Partnership with an International Charity – Shortlisted
Just a Drop was pleased to have been shortlisted three times in the ‘Partnership with an International Charity’!
We were shortlisted for our respective relationships with three amazing partners: Atlas Copco, Lixir Drinks, and Naked Sprout.
While none of them won, we are incredibly grateful to all three of these amazing organisations for the good they do around the world by supporting Just a Drop.
Business Charity Awards
Charity Partnership – Consumer Goods/ Food & Beverage – Finalists
The partnership between Lixir Drinks and Just a Drop was established thanks to the visionary young business people behind the Lixir brand, who understand the need for and the value of having charity support and sound ethics at the heart of their business.
Lixir donate 1% of their annual revenue to Just a Drop, equating to a minimum of 100 litres of clean drinking water donated for every case of Lixir sold.
With the donations received, Just a Drop delivered a project at Mwania Primary School in Kenya, where the children who attend now have access to safe water all year round, through a rain water harvesting tank.
