News World Travel Market to take place in 2020 World Travel Market (WTM) is to go ahead as planned in November 2020. The news of the 2020 exhibition, gives hope to the travel industry which has been grappling to survive in these unprecedented times of the Covid-19 pandemic. The exhibition, and long-term partner of Just a Drop, will take place over the course of three days from November 2nd – 4th at the Excel Centre in London. In 1998, WTM came on board as our first ever partner and, since then, they have stood as a shining example to the travel industry as a company that is passionate about giving back to communities across the world and having a global impact. Our partnership with WTM began from a simple concept of collecting just £1 from every visitor attending the event, and has now progressed so that when an exhibitor books their stand to attend the exhibition, a donation in support of Just a Drop is included in their booking. Through the sales team bringing in new bookings, to the team setting Just a Drop up with our stand, to the communications and conference teams working hard to get us noticed - it really is a collective effort. The exhibition’s support has enabled dozens of communities to access safe, clean water and handwashing facilities at a time when this is more important than ever. Last year, the exhibition enabled La Ceiba in Nicaragua to access clean water in their village for the first time. And before this, WTM has supported projects across the world in countries including Zambia, Uganda and Kenya; transforming the lives of thousands of people. WTM prides itself on being the hub of travel ideas. They enable the global travel trade to understand how the industry will look in the next five years, share innovations, and create endless business opportunities – elevating the sector. Their support enables the travel industry to come together as a force of collective good every year and we are so excited that their legacy continues in 2020!
