Founded in 1969 by Just a Drop’s Honorary President, Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE and his colleagues, the Scientific Exploration Society initiates a worldwide programme of scientific expeditions focusing on scientific, conservation, education and community aid projects.

The BWCA and its members realise how fortunate we are in the UK to be able to access clean drinking water and so, in March 2016, opted to support Just a Drop to help those for whom water cannot be taken for granted. Already, BWCA has funded its first Just a Drop project and is now raising funds towards a further borehole to help yet another community in Africa.
Just a Drop has been adopted by Corinthia Hotels as its official charity and is supporting our work in several countries in Africa including Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Inspired Films is a London based film and video production company, which is spearheading Just a Drop’s media strategy for 2011/2013. John Blashford-Snell, who is responsible for all the charity’s project work, has often said how appreciative the Trustees are of ITT’s goodwill, fundraising activities and the personal support shown by Steven Freudmann, ITT’s Chairman. “The partnership between ITT and Just a Drop is a tremendous example of how the travel and tourism industry can change people’s daily lives.”

As part of the Blu Planet program, Radisson Blu has partnered with Just a Drop to help give children around the world access to safe drinking water through the hotel brand’s towel re-use program. For every 250 bath towels reused at Radisson Blu hotels, enough safe drinking water will be provided to a child for life.
