Ten year old Daniel Craft from Bicester, Oxon, brought a smile to the faces of everyone in the Just a Drop office last week, as we received a £10 donation and a lovely handwritten letter in the post from him. Read his heart-warming letter here to find out why.
This is what Daniel’s mother had to say: “Your appreciation has meant the world to Daniel; he is a boy who can think about others and as parents we are very proud of his achievements and his obvious awareness in helping others. This weekend he is going to scout camp for the first time and it is from this involvement that he researched charities and found yours, from his already growing awareness of sports relief at school, and his water project which has amazed us. Best Wishes and thank you for your reply which has made Daniel a very proud boy.”
Everyone at Just a Drop was thrilled with this wonderful engagement from a young child and we genuinely hope that Daniel will inspire others!

Dear Just a Drop
Daniel Craft is in my class at langford Community Primary School in Bicester. We have been doing a topic on H2O and Daniel researched your charity as part of our Creative Homework which we call Learning Log. This allows the children to follow their own interests and produce work which is meaningful to them. When Daniel presented his work to the class last Friday I could not believe the quality of it and the depth of research to which his own interest had led him. He is a boy who does not find school easy yet has produced work of this quality. Thank you for printing his letter – he was so proud to show his class mates what he had done and he managed to enthuse us all about your charity – a truly inspirational child.

Wow Daniel!!!
This is fantastic! Who would have thought the poster you made to present to the Cubs all about how difficult it is in some countries to get clean water would lead to you being on the Just a Drop Website!!
Thank you for sharing your research with the rest of the Cub Pack – it was really interesting to hear all about how Just a Drop help prevent disease and save lives. This work conrtibuted to both your Global and Community Challenge Badges. – well done!
We are really proud of all you do at Cubs – particularly the way you think carefully about others and also when you came to Camp for the first time the other week. 1st Langford Village Cub Scouts are really lucky to have you as a member.
Keep up the good work Daniel. Rama – CSL – 1st Langford Village Cub Scout Pack
