AIME helps Haiti

AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) in Melbourne supported Just A Drop’s Haiti Appeal with Reed Travel Exhibitions coordinating a number of initiatives to raise money. A silent auction, sale of Just a Drop pedometers and appeal collection tins together raised $2,119.

AIME Event Director, Rosemarie Sama, said the Just Help Haiti Appeal saw exhibitors give generously.

“The silent auction held at AIME 2010 was a new initiative and it was great to see the generosity of exhibitors keen to help raise money to provide access to clean, safe drinking water for the people and children of Haiti. While this year’s fundraising initiatives were launched just a few weeks before AIME we plan to build and expand our efforts next year and continue to fundraise for Just a Drop, raising the profile of this important cause.”

AIME enjoyed supporting Just a Drop this year, and will be continuing their efforts throughout 2010 and onto the 2011 expo.
