Launched in 1998 at World Travel Market, The Premier Global Event for the Travel Industry, Just a Drop continues to receive considerable support from worldwide travel & tourism companies whilst also increasingly now from other business sectors. Without these partners much of our work would not have been possible and hundreds of thousands of people would still be without clean, safe water. Indeed, many would have died.
In our 11 years to date we have undertaken over 65 water aid projects and helped over 1 million children and their families in 29 countries. From humble beginnings our first project was in partnership with the British Red Cross in North Gondar, Ethiopia.
Among the many projects we are carring out in 2009 are those in Afghanistan, Ecuador and Zambia
