Fiona Jeffery |Founder & Chairman
Also Chairman of World Travel Market, The Premier Global Event for the Travel Industry, Fiona founded Just a Drop in 1998 as a way to encourage travel & tourism companies to give back to the world in which the industry operated by helping reduce child mortality caused by unsafe water. Fiona has also long been an ardent supporter of responsible and sustainable tourism, and established World Responsible Tourism Day at WTM. In 2008 she was awarded Shine Woman of the Year.

Chris Haworth | Treasurer & Trustee
Following a Civil Engineering degree and an early forces background with the Royal Engineers, Chris completed a Cranfield MBA.
He then spent several years in business finance & accounting and management consultancy roles both in the UK and overseas before moving into the senior executive resourcing field, with Coopers & Lybrand and latterly at Price WaterhouseCoopers. In his spare time Chris has held several charity treasury roles and has a particular interest in charity work in underdeveloped countries.

Robert Baty OBE | Trustee
A civil engineer by profession, Bob is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, a Fellow of the Institution of Water Officers, and a Companion of the Institute of Management. Overall he has spent over forty years in the water industry gaining experience in all aspects of water and waste water management from both a technical and managerial point of view. Recently retired from the position of Chief Executive of South West Water, Bob received his OBE in 2002 for services to the water industry.

Jane Larcombe | Trustee
Jane has had more than 20 years experience in national and international public relations. A former co-owner of Charles Barker (now part of Weber Shandwick) she set up Jane Larcombe Communications in 1998 and specialises in leisure, travel, business to business, travel exhibitions and sport. Her PR expertise and extensive media contacts are vital to raising awareness of Just a Drop and the desperate need for safer water in many parts of the world.

Richard Tobias | Trustee
Richard has spent almost his entire working life in the tourism industry with high profile positions including Chief Executive of the British Incoming Tour Operators Association (the official trade body representing Britain’s inbound tourism industry) and Director-General of The Tourism Alliance (the authority created with the encouragement of the Culture Secretary of State to act as the pan-industry communications and lobbying body between the Government and the Tourism industry). A Fellow of the Institute of Directors, the Tourism Society and the Institute of Travel & Tourism, he was awarded an OBE in 1998 for services to tourism.

Colonel Mike Reynolds| Trustee
Mike served for 37 years in the Royal Engineers on 6 different continents. He is a Fellow of the Institutions of Civil Engineers and Plant Engineers. He developed an interest in water while serving with the Brigade of Gurkhas and was sent to Nepal to recce and design village water supply schemes. He has been into the field for Just a Drop in Chile, Bolivia, Kenya and Niger. Mike become particularly attracted to Just a Drop because it is a “family” sized charity which includes carrying out low technology projects in remote locations that change peoples’ lives quickly, easily and often for only a few pounds per person.

Peter Watson| Trustee
'Peter Watson is the Managing Partner of Simpson Millar LLP, a post he has held since 1996. Peter graduated from Durham University in 1995 after which he spent a year with a leading accountancy Practice completing the Graduate Conversion course. He then spent several years in Australia where he gained a second law degree from the Queensland University of Technology and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. While in Australia Peter also gained the Queensland Law Society's diploma in Practice Management.
He has recently written a chapter entitled 'The structuring of Law Firms after the Legal Services Act 2007' for the 2nd edition of the Practice Management Handbook published by the Law Society.
Dermot Blastland | Trustee
On 3rd September 2007, Dermot Blastland became Managing Director – TUI UK & Ireland for TUI Travel PLC after the successful merger of TUI Tourism (incorporating Thomson Holidays) and First Choice Holidays PLC. This coming October, Dermot stepped down from his position as Managing Director and will take on a new temporary role, reporting directly into Chief Executive Peter Long, leading the Group's Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility initiatives.
He has previously held positions as Managing Director of the Mainstream Sector of First Choice Holidays PLC, Managing Director of First Choice Holidays and Flights, Ski, Lakes and Mountains and President of Signature Vacations - First Choice's Canadian Division.
Dermot retired from TUI in December 2010 and is currently a Trustee of the charity of Just a Drop and sits on the Advisory Council of the World Travel Market.
