Hayes & Jarvis first partnered with Just a Drop in 2009 and sponsored what is a typical Just a Drop project in a remote part of Bolivia. 

This project supported two villages requiring a refurbished water supply. The villagers were badly affected by pollution and flooding so Water Engineers together with Just a Drop’s President, Colonel John Blashford-Snell, set out in July to build four wells in two villages for 90 families, living on the distant shores of Lake Roja Aquado in swamp and jungle in northern Bolivia.

Claire Tobin, Managing Director of TUI travel’s UK Specialist said “having just launched our first programme to Latin America, our interest in the region has been heightened and we chose to support the Bolivian project first because this is a way to offer real benefit to a local community that urgently needs help”.
