The Cofan community is an indigenous population located in the Amazon jungle in the north east of Ecuador.
The nearby Aguarico River provides a local source of water, but it must first be purified to ensure it is safe to drink.
Just a Drop installed a pump and purifier in the river and a system was implemented with pumps, gravel filtration, screening filtration, rings filtration and chlorination.
