Dubai School‘Go Blue!’ at School!

The idea behind our ‘Go Blue!’ day is very simple. Everyone wears blue to school on 22nd March and donates £1 towards Just a Drop.

After you have permission from your teachers, just contact us to let us know you are taking part. We’ll send you some stickers and balloons to make the day more fun and will promote your efforts on our website – just be sure to send us some photos of all of your ‘blue’ costumes!

You can also make the day more fun by organising a blue cake sale or designing your very own water droplets to decorate around your classroom.

Click here to see a short video of how Blaydon West Primary School played their part in our ‘Go Blue!’ campaign this year, and take a peek below at some of our photos from last year. As you can see, even the Just a Drop team got involved!

Don’t forget, the ‘Go Blue!’ Day is just one of many ways in which you can support Just a Drop – you can also nominate us as your school’s Charity of the Year, or fundraise with a group of friends or your family. Take a look at our Splash 4 Kids pack for more ideas.

‘Go Blue’!

Just a Drop Goes Blue!

Around the world, 22nd March is recognised as World Water Day. On this day, we hope that schools, companies and individuals in the UK will wear something blue and donate £1 towards Just a Drop’s water projects. Last year, Kew College School helped Just a Drop to launch our ‘Go Blue!’ Campaign. Beth, in year six, said “We had some amazing ideas for costumes which we hoped would inspire other schools to support Just a Drop. We also held a cake sale with some yummy cakes coated in blue icing. We hope our efforts have made a difference to families without clean water who need it”.

If you’d like to get involved with ‘Go Blue!’ in 2013, download our ‘Go Blue!’ pack by clicking here & here to watch our ‘Go Blue!’ video!
