Just a Drop will fund a project for the 3000 families of Mangyan Village, Philippines. Barangay Manoot is where the marginalised Mangyan Tribes are located. This barangay has a lack of sufficient and safe water and health of the Mangyans has been suffering immense consequences as a result. Through the collaboration of the Rotary Club of United Nations Manila and the Rotary Club of Tokyo Shibuyu Japan, a new water system project has been initiated. Water will be piped from Mt Iglit-Baku that will benefit the 3000 families, 10,000 Mangyan people.

Letter written to Just a Drop from a member of the Mangyan Village.
Dear Just-A-Drop Foundation,
The tribal chief told me that they have been praying to have water for 18 years. And Just-A-Drop Foundation so far far away made it possible. They are having a fiesta to celebrate how lucky and how thankful they are for Just-A-Drop. The project is now finished. The water is flowing freely in their village. And I'm sure many lives will be saved because of what you have done.
The diseases will be much less as they are now able to take a bath. The children will have no skin diseases and eye infections because of Just-A-Drop. You have made such a difference in the lives of a large tribe and all of the smaller tribes around. Just-a drop, I thank you. The chieftain and elders of the tribe told me to tell you thank you and God bless the wonderful people who have made this possible to them.
I'm sending pics and I also want to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your kindness as when I saw the children taking a bath and the water flowing, I cried a lot and so did all my foreign companions as you could feel the joy and the happiness that you brought.
Looking forward to seeing you later this month.
Wilma.
