Project Details - Ethiopia,Tenta

According to 2000/2001 World Bank Report 70% of the population of the sub-Saharan African countries live on less than a dollar a day. Ethiopia's poverty level is even worse than this. Above 70% of the population of Ethiopia live on less than a dollar a day.
The project will cover the Tenta district where women and children are currently forced to go far to fetch water which is not clean. The poor water quality of the Tenta area also affects the sanitation and health condition of the residents, which results in different water born diseases and other disease like trachoma.

Funded by a donation from Drop4Drop. Just a Drop and the Scientific Exploration Society to help develop a water supply for the Tenta district in Ethiopia:
