
In June 2004, Just a Drop was approached by Major Miles Stockwell, the Treasurer of the Afghan Mother & Child Rescue charity. He wanted to install proper plumbing in a clinic in the village of Khanabad in the Kunduz Province of northern Afghanistan that was used for the accommodation of midwives.
Just a Drop worked in partnership with The Scientific Exploration Society to provide the local hospital, the Mother Child Clinic and the new Obstetric Clinic with fresh clean water.
