In 2002 Just a Drop donated £4,090 to help projects in nine villages in Darfur. In addition, the Scientific Exploration Society provided medical equipment including thermometers, wash bottles, pipettes, labtop coolers, test tube mats and disposable serological pipettes.
Just a Drop & Scientific Exploration Society worked in partnership with Kids For Kids on a project for nine new villages in Darfur.

The partnership was able to provide:

  • 2 handpumps
  • Training for the Water User Group in book keeping, maintenance, spare parts etc.
  • 10 goats to provide children with milk and help to build a small flock to provide families with a livelihood.
