In view of the disastrous effects of global warming they Go Green as the theme for the painting competition. This issue cannot be adequately tackled without action from the entire community. As a result, there is an urgent need to educate our future generations about environmental issues order to step up efforts to battle global warming.

Titled "Go Green", the competition was designed to educate and inform participants about the importance of environment conservation while giving them an opportunity to express their ideas on the subject. The competition was held in conjunction with Just a Drop (the only global travel and tourism industry charity dedicated to providing clean water to children). It is a completely non-profitable exercise with free participation for all children.

  • The grand prize was a 3 day trip for the winner with 2 adults to the Pyramids in Cairo
  • The second and third prize winners received a laptop and hamper respectively
  • There was also a range of consolation prizes

Any small initiative can make a significant contribution in protecting the environment and balancing the ecosystem.
